Ocean Grove may be a new name to you, but these guys have been a band longer than they’ve actually been a band. Starting out as the Jonas Brothers’ backing band, Ocean Grove are seasoned stage veterans. On November 10th I got the chance to go check out their set in NYC at Webster Studio. Singer John Taylor has an amazing voice, and the band has a country-rock-pop kind of vibe. It was new and different and kept me engaged throughout the set. They are their own genre, and I can promise you they are going place. Be sure to check them out next time they come to your town, I promise seeing them is money well spent.

This was an “accidental” picture. I focused my camera down in front of my face and carefully raised it up in the air in attempt to get a picture of Jack. Because my DSLR doesn’t have a live view I couldn’t see what I was taking a picture of; I missed his face but I thought the coloring and slight motion blur looked cool.
